I hope you don't mind if I tell you a little about my girl Samantha, a yellow Lab I rescued when she was about 2 years old. I was single at the time, pretty isolated, and lonely. She quickly became my family and the love of my life. I had 9 precious years with her until January 2011, when she passed away from a very fast growing cancer. I had about a day to say goodbye to my best friend. I was devastated and really didn't come out of it until 7 months later when I learned that I had leukemia, which is incurable. I knew that my endless grieving had to stop so that I could fight the cancer. Perhaps I got cancer because of my inability to handle her death. There is no way to know, but I will always love her with all my heart and I believe that I will see her again in the afterlife. That's what makes it bearable for me. My thoughts are with you as you continue on after the loss of your dearest friend. Your article is a wonderful tribute to Boscoe. There is no doubt that he knew how much you loved him and will always love him. God bless you. 716tjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05446330661861825820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1785724931249096583.post-80129427139757352832013-02-05T20:13:24.053-05:002013-02-05T20:13:24.053-05:00Wow...this brings me to tears.
